There’s a new cafe’ and gallery in town! The Muse Cafe’ and Gallery has opened in the former location of Sven’s Kafe’ and Gallery at 110 Orr Street, in Columbia! Their core belief is that every person is simultaneously artist and subject, and they want to inspire the community and be inspired by artists of all types, as well as sell a simple, healthy variety of freshly prepared foods! Plus, they sell exclusively fair trade coffee! That makes us fans of this great little spot for sure!
They are having an art show and competition to kick off the new business, called Spontaneous! If It Fits, It Shows! They are accepting entries from any artist who wishes to express in a public forum. Entries can consist of writing, photography, painting, music, etc! Facebook participants will select a 1st and 2nd place winner by clicking “like” for their favorite pieces which will be displayed in their gallery and on Facebook. Voting will close and a winner will be announced after 5 PM on Friday, March 25th. The first place prize will be a free year of coffee, while second place will receive a month of coffee. For more details, visit their Facebook page from the link previously in this post! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to show your talent!
