Business Management
The Mustard Seed Fair Trade Business Management Intern will experience the responsibilities of management first hand, independently manage the store every Saturday. The Business Intern works directly with the Executive Director throughout the week on various projects which may include: budget analysis and maintenance, monthly finance reports, purchasing, strategic planning, product knowledge and volunteer training, sales and customer service, volunteer recruitment and management, special event planning, office organization. {apply now
Marketing
The Mustard Seed Fair Trade Marketing Intern is responsible for managing all social media and advertising accounts. Responsibilities include: designing monthly advertising campaigns, daily posting on social media sites, developing monthly email campaigns, promoting store events, developing market expansion strategies.
Visual Merchandising
The Mustard Seed Fair Trade Visual Merchandising Intern enjoys creative freedom while working with the Executive Director to develop merchandising concepts. Responsibilities include: designing monthly window display in windows and on feature shelves, weekly maintenance of store displays, processing and organizing new inventory, managing merchandising volunteers, incorporating Fair Trade education throughout store. {apply now
Buying
The Mustard Seed Fair Trade Buying Intern is given a rare opportunity to gain industry buying experience. Our Buying Intern will work with the Executive Director to establish and maintain the monthly merchandise budget. Responsibilities include: making buying decisions with new and current vendors, developing and maintaining mins/maxs, processing and organizing new inventory, collaborating with merchandising intern, establishing product knowledge standards with volunteers. {apply now
Creative Communications
The Mustard Seed Fair Trade Creative Communications Intern develops and implements creative ways to share fair trade stories and the Mustard Seed mission with volunteers and customers in-store and online. Responsibilities include: writing weekly blog posts, managing a volunteer creative team, product photos, creating in-store signage, development of seasonal branding theme and message, working alongside marketing and visual merchandising interns. {apply now
Creative Design
The Mustard Seed Fair Trade Creative Design Intern creates design materials for advertising, marketing, and event promotion. Responsibilities include: monthly store advertisement campaign design, seasonal online store product photography assistance and editing, website graphic updates, event promotional materials. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Creative Suite is a must for this position. {apply now

The Mustard Seed Fair Trade Accounting Intern will practice accounting principles first hand.
